"Stubby Bob" from the Roadkill MotorTrend TV Show

Note:

  • How do we explain this?  A rearengined, Wheel Standing Pickup, with a Blown Big Block, stock Wheels, Brakes, and V-Drive.
  • Scratchbuilt Rear Frame, Motor Mounts, Suspension Mounts, Floor, Tranny Tunnel, V-drive, Motor Scoop, Wired and Plumbed, Photo Etch details
  • ONLY Kit parts are Body, Glass and Front Frame, rest is parts box or aftermarket.
Rusted, weathered, and the Koolest Wheel Stander ever built!   And I had a blast building it!

Porsche Flying Car

Notes:

  • While I was building this I was thinking of the John Prine song "Living in the Future" I finished it a month or so before his death so it stands as a tribute.“We are living in the future
I'll tell you how I know I read it in the paper Fifteen years ago"
  • We have electric cars and self driving cars but where are the flying cars? For many years I have tried the Lincoln Futura canopy on many cars but once I put it on the Porsche 356 it was ready to be a flying car. The interior is also from the Futura. The carpet was saved since the sixties.
  • The wheel wheel exhaust fans, the inside and outside engines and rear thruster motor arevall from some Maschinen Kreiger kit.  The female driver is from  Fujimi and since the other inspiration was predictions of the future from the fifties she doesn't have a seat belt!

Formula 32

Notes:

  • Was given this 3D printed kit to see what I could do with it. Not sure of the scale, but 1/20th F1 stuff seems to fit the build. What if there was an opened wheel series based on a '32 Ford?
  • The wheels are from my parts box. The tires were reworked and resin cast. Front and rear wings are from the parts box as well.
  • Paint is Tamiya TS-55. Decals are from my decal storage bin.
