Note:

  • '58 front end adapted to '57 Suburban and corrected windshield/gasket fabricated from clear polycarbonate and black wire
  • Following research, Napco drivetrain (with lots of fabricating) including detailed stock 6 cylinder added to chassis. Mud/snow tires (sectioned and narrowed from wide tires) on 6-bolt 16" rims
  • ​Tight-swing door hinges fabricated from stiff wire

1955 Chevy NHRA legal ('62/'63 Rules) C/GS Gasser

 

Note:

  • Doors, trunk lid and tilt front end cut open and hinged (the original model had only an opening engine hood). Interior includes all safety equipment and upholstery
  • 4-71 supercharged 301" Chevy (with scattershield) is set back the max 10%, car body sits level at rest and is max legal height (rocker panel no higher than the center of the rear wheel)
  • ​Steering, straight front axle and springs are fabricated from polished aluminum. Brakes preset on all wheels (no spindle mounts)

Note:

  • Lots of reference used to accurately transform the starting material into a Canadian Pontiac, including much bodywork (including opening the fuel filler door) as well as lots of the trim
  • Complete Sedan Delivery interior including folding bench seat, removable access to spare tire, struts for opening liftgate, headliner with correct dome-light, etc.
  • Correct Chevy style chassis now includes spare tire well, wagon style fuel tank (Renshape resin material), parking brake assembly, tubing exhaust, posable steering, etc.
