  • Conversion from Jordan 1/87 Stake truck. Added floor mats, gear and brake levers, instrument dials, all three pedals
  • Made truck coal bed from V-styrene, added 1 x 10 styrene supports; rivets done with Micro Mark HO wet decal set

Added sprue cable/lift support behind cab, added muffler, ROCO tools, tissue paper windshield cover, MV headlights, scale coal; thinned bumpers, fenders to scale, thinned styrene "wood" bumper on front

  • Scratchbuilt entire body sides, rear doors and fender to create oil canning effect and dents, scratchbuilt interior support ribbing

​Weathered paint, rusting to look like burned and rusted out vehicle, replicating an actual 1:1 truck currently on the 4077 MASH filming site in Malibu, CA

Note:

  • Scratchbuilt twin hand brakes located at the rear fenders, rear towing bar, front bumper. Added gas & clutch pedals. Chain from Hawk Graphics.
  • Added braces to seat's backside, support between the rear fenders behind the seat, thin lead wire to winch drum to replicate wire cable & towing eye from spares box.

​Added steering linkage to transmission tunnel & connecting rod from it through slot in the firewall to the front axle. New gas cap, oil filler cap, radiator cap & exhaust pipe. Headlight housing drilled out. Reflector made from a small disk punched from a sequin & "Bondic" lens.

  • Lobographix decals, this build is 1/64th scale, which is Hot Wheels size
  • Decals really do go over the side windows. This car ran exactly one race, the 1990 Daytona 500.

  • Very poor kit that I wanted to look like the SSJ sold in 2018 by Gooding & Co. for 20 million. Opened the hood and added second carb, Added chrome spears to front edge of fenders
  • Detailed interior adding light knobs to center of steering wheel (around the horn button), put dual spares on rear

Note:

  • Added missing ribs to outside facing of both track runs & hitch pin to rear towing point. Covered hollow bottom of seat. .
  • Drilled out rear light housings. Made lenses from a disc punched from a chrome sequin & a drop of Bondic. Replaced the driver's control levers and foot pedals.

Added rivets to drive sprocket housings & along both lower inside mud shields, lubrication points to drive sprocket housings, grab handle to both sides of seat frame, pair of hooks to backside & chain from Hawk Graphics, half dozen rivets to the seat back.
