1928 Pierce Arrow 7 Ton Dump Truck

 

Note:

  • The frame, springs, supports, axles, wheel hubs, etc. are all soldered brass.  The headlights are turned aluminum.    Radiator is made up of individual threaded rods with top and surround made of varying pieces of plastic stock glued together.
  • The cab and body are sheet plastic.  The windshield frame is wood with clear plastic insert.   Tires are resin castings.  Wheels came from the Monogram Mack AC kit.
  • Many photos and measurements were taken of the real truck while on display at the Golden Age of Trucking Museum in Middlebury, CT.  It is privately owned and is located now in New Jersey.  Unfortunately the museum closed.
