  • Chairs and Tables from Fujimi Garage Set with controls scratch-built. The TV platform is built from brass and plastic. Headphones from a rally kit.
  • The Radio Television Francais (RTF) logo is period correct. A really fun build especially the interior.

  • ​Salt technique to accomplish rusty patina, washes and pigments used as well. Vallejo Turquoise Paint on body, Mission Models Insignia White on Cab roof. Cleared with Createx Matte Clear.

  • Started with Moebius 1970 Ford F-100 Custom Cab 4x4. Converted to a F-250 using tye conversion kit from Fireball Motorsports.
  • The cargo in the bed are bits and pieces from AMT's Tip Top Shop kit, wheels and tires from my parts box.
  • ​Paint is Ford Royal Maroon from Scalefinishes and decals are custom made.

Note:

  • Interior detail: Scratchbuilt 2-way radio with mic, electronic meter, cell phone, radar detector, and coffee cup. Map from VerLinden. Interior has been weathered with washes and drybrushing.
  • Cab Conversions: In addition to interior, top sign was carved and vacuformed. Decals were printed on a laser printer. Body repair primer on fender. P/E antenna. Propane filler on side.
  • ​Engine compartment: Wiring includes alternator, distributor, and cruise control. Brake lines added to M/C. Has been weathered as well as chassis.
