  • This was a planned "Box Stock Build" that took a left turn, we started changing, adding, scratchbuilding everything!!   And I had a blast.   Many look at it thinking "It's box stock. . . "   Until they start to look deeper, it appears like the real car, with a few energetic touches of craftsmanship.

Little "Big" T

Note:

  • This was built using two original incomplete Little T kits. It was built to replicate the Big T but in 1/24th scale. I used a three carb manifold from Replicas and Miniatures and air cleaners from MCG. The Corvette valve covers are from a Revell Tweetie Pie
kit. I added wires and fuel lines.

  • The bed was lowered to better match the large scale kit and I added a scratch built fuel tank and battery. I added an antenna to the front cowl.
  • The paint is Tamiya Italian Red over grey primer. The pinstripes are .010" vinyl and the decals were scanned and resized. It was all then buried in 2 part clear.
